Prius mileage

Just for the record, Dale, I don't much care for Limbaugh. Or most of the
other so-called "conservatives" who are basically mouthpieces for the
Republican Party.
And I don't think the shoe you're trying to put on quite fits you. <G>

It's this notion that the Prius is going to be this savior car for the
planet. Like I said, an extra 15-20 MPG is a good thing. I might even buy
a Prius when my Accord wears out (or whatever is available then).

All of us want less pollution. Pollution was worse in the horse and buggy
days. Imagine poop in the streets. And, when I'm biking and get behind
nasty automobiles, I become a rank environmentalist tree-hugging biker dude.
 Gasp, gasp, gasp. <G>

Get rid of all automobiles! Go back to bikes only!! <G>

Nah ... it's a cost/benefit thing. We all benefit from the combustion
engine. So we put up with it. If we die from poor air quality, at least
the combustion engine extended our lives long enough so we could die from
that. Otherwise, it would be early death out in the fields under the hot
sun. Or poor food, or bad hygiene. Ya know?
