? Hi All

? I just wanted to pass on a brilliant little invention tip by one of our most venerable colleagues. Any of us who have an action in & out & in & out & .... will recognize the back saving, energy conserving? genius of this device
?? A few weeks ago at the Bill Shull Steinway seminar Laroy Edwards was on hand to demonstrate a beautiful tool he hand makes. I had?used the ?prototype? for some time now & it's an incredibly versatile tool.?At the seminar he?demonstrated this new & improved model. It adjust quickly and easily tot he height of any keyboard & instead of lifting the action it is possible to simply slide the action out onto the caddy.? There are simulator glide bolts to mimic the key frame position in the piano & also a set of clamps & brackets that can be set up to do letoff out of the piano.? Let-off is set by first setting end samples in the piano & then setting up the string gizmo to finish the job. It weighs al of 7 or 8 lbs and the? wheels lock for increased stability.
?To collapse it , the knobs are loosened & one hand pushes down or pulls up on the metal bar. It doesn't jam or balk at being moved. It takes all of 5 seconds.
? You know Laroy, It's very well thought out. It's a perfect travel or shop tool. Yes he sells them & if interested his e-mail address is? laroyedwards at netptc.net
