You didn't say what area 1-70. Unless that felt has glue on it or is dirty I would leave it alone. Is this noise where the pedal rod travels through the keybed? Could it be from the levers rubbing under the keybed. I've seen glue squished out around the leather pad on the damper lever for the push rod rub on the next pedal lever. What about the guide rod on the lyre that the push rod passes through?
