Gas I gasped!

He wrote about *imperial* gallons, which is ~4.55 liters/litres and, I
believe, is 5 quarts. It comes about due to it being the volume and English
measure of 10 pounds of distilled water. Seems to me it oughtta be 5 quints,
not quarts
