I don't know how many of you might have received this via email but, for any
of you that have not here is what has been arranged:

The Grand Rapids Convention Bureau has made arrangements for shuttle service
between the Gerald R. Ford International Airport and the Amway Grand Hotel.

Shuttle days and hours are:
Tuesday, July 14 from 9 a.m. - Midnight
Sunday, July 19 from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The cost is $25 round trip or $15 one way payable when you board the bus.

Upon your arrival at the airport, please go to the airport Information Desk
in the baggage claim area for directions to the shuttle. A sign will be
posted for PTG convention attendees.

To make a reservation, please email your name, cell number, airline and
flight number to: Tim Nelson at TNelson at meetgrandrapids.com. (Reservations
are not necessary but will help in making sure that a shuttle is available.)

Please Note: The shuttle drivers will ask about return trip times. If
necessary, the CVB may extend return shuttle times and that information will
be posted at the PTG Registration Desk. The best way to get this changed is
for everyone to reserve a ride ahead of time. Thank you.

For those of you arriving at other times.

The Amway Grand Plaza is conveniently located in the heart of the downtown
Grand Rapids' business and entertainment district. At the crossroads of both
US-131 and I-196, the hotel is easily accessible and just a brief 18-minute
drive from Gerald R. Ford International Airport.

>From the airport to the Amway Grand:

Metro Cab (616-827-6500) offers traditional taxicab and luxury sedan service
at the curbside. Taxi fare to downtown Grand Rapids is approximately $32
(U.S.). Luxury sedan service to downtown Grand Rapids is approximately $37
(U.S.).

The Rapid Public Transit
The Rapid bus system includes a stop at GFIA on their route. Bus rides cost
$1.50 with one transfer pass included. The latest schedule is available
online. Route 17 serves the airport. Please be advised that the route
requires two transfers on a city bus so we don't recommend this option if
you are carrying a lot of luggage.

County Connection
According to the CVB, County Connection does not offer guaranteed service to
the airport. Call 800-849-1191 to schedule a pickup and for more
information.
