Here's a picture of the bridge agraffe.

On the retrofit piano, it was interesting to note that a plucked string had nasty falsness, but played pure with the hammer...  The roller comes out for restringing.  The two blades that form the terminations press directly on the bridge - the black surface is actually a type of card stock to absorb the higher 'zings'.  No downbearing required...
