I understand that, as do hybrid blocks made with multilam. 
 I'm not saying they don't work well.

Have you actually tried a sample of Delignit capped multilam, or are you presuming an inferior feel on pedigree? 
 Yes I have tried them and to me its a different feel. Not bad just different. Perhaps I didn't give it enough of a chance.

Which is the real reason rather than this being a functionally superior block to a Delignit capped multilam. Good enough, thank you. 
  Many things work well and I wasn't claiming a superior anything.-To each his own-Dale
