And of course let's remember that many of these pianos were designed for A-435, or maybe even something else. It would be nice to know for sure! (Maybe some genius on this list with a reliable way to discern such will speak up.) As long as the customer is not playing along with a radio or idiophone, why not tune it to the pitch it was built for, and cut down breakage risk along with making it sound correct?
