Joe--- I suspect that that chap's name (whether or not he existed) was merely "dropped" to imply that this piano was built the STEIN-way. (But perhaps he was also the inventor of the world-renowned, Mezzo-Thermoneal-Stabilizer --- which someone on this list REALLY ought to research the patent on, some of these days!)
