Hi Dale, there are those who do and those who dont. My wife has a very =
sensative nose and even the Goose Juice bothers her and she will =
complain. On the other hand she uses a bathroom cleaner that knocks me =
over with the smell and it is very toxic to boot.
As Mary and others have stated ( including myself ) oils and elixers are =
only a short term solution  ( pun not intended ) to the problem, as is =
repining. only new parts will fully address the issue.
What finally got my test subject's owners to go ahead with repairs was =
the under felt showing through the strike point of the hammers. I have =
maintained the piano in good playing condition for 10 yeard with da =
juice and feel that other issues finally caught up with us not the green =
gunk. Hammers and secondly flat rollers finally got the old girl in to =
the beauty shop. <G>
Just got the parts today. cant wait to get started tomorrow.

   I dont' know what's in protek & that's one reason I'm not using it. =
If osha wanted to know I'd need a has-mat. flier on every solvent in the =
shop. I know what silicone oil & wild turkey are. Know what I mean?
