[CAUT] Interesting Note

I got a chuckle out of this note from a student and thought you might also.

Mr. Todd,

The Steinway Baby Grand in Rm. 175 is in need of repairs, as follows: The
2nd F & 3rd C have a lever malfunction of some sort and the upper area of
the keyboard has fallen out of tune. Perhaps a full re-tuning would be in 
line.

Of course, I couldn't help but think of the "wardrobe malfunction" thing. :-)

It was actually one of the more precise notes I've received in a long time and
he even signed the note, which is unusual.

It was jack tenders unglued, as I suspected. We have a lot of that era L's 
(1972)
and it's a very common problem.
