Obviously, things like music, stands, etc, are =20 requested by the choral director, etc., and the chair usually approves the =20 items. But if an item is more than (I think $2000), it has to be out to bid,= which=20 is a long and drawn out process. Again, the person requesting the item puts= =20 in the request, but it has to be approved by the chair, the procurement =20 department, the dean, etc. When the bids come in, the decision is made by th= e =20 person needing the equipment AND the chair, with the final approval by the =20 procurement chairman, who has the right to deny the bid, "just because".=20 =20 Wim=20 ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
