Susan is correct, there is not enough material in the finish to 
repair any damage,
too few coats of lacquer.  One piano I declined to touch-up moving scuffs; the
overall wavy finish was so bad, I didn't know where to start and with 
the thin finish,
I knew I'd be through in short order.
