[CAUT] Capstans to Tray

This seems to the the one area where we in the end differ. Seems to me
that just ignoring the variations in timing one sees reflected in the
variations in pedal lift and then compensating for them by adjusting the
capstans... time after time is bound to result in pretty uneven timing
sooner or later.

Sure... it is far easier to tweak for pedaling. No argument there.

But hey,,, I'm open enough. Next time I get a chance to look at the
piano I took the picture from... I'll run a good check on damper timing
for each key and let you all know what I find. Looking at the
capstans... its clear they've been tweaked quite a bit more times then
just a few.

I dont really find that it takes allllll that much time to loosen wire
screws and adjust tray lift that way myself.

Cheers
RicB

Once the dampers settle, unevenly; it is far easier to tweak the capstan
for pedaling than it is to adjust the underlever for regulation.

Real world situation, set underlever to proper height; adjust capstan
    for even lift.
