I'm curious.

How would you interpret the pianist's specific comments that you've  
quoted, expressed in terms of what symptoms you would expect to find,  
and how you would then correct them?

Are you suggesting that the best way to diagnose the problems is to  
play those sections yourself, hoping to discover the same difficulties?
