Subject: Tuning I believe a very acceptable tuning in regard to stability and accuracy can be accomplished using an Accu-tuner or aural methods. A point I feel no one will dispute, however, is that if you primarily use the Accu-tuner, you will become better at using that at the expense of not growing as fast in proficiency with your aural skills. Conversely, if you tune aurally most of the time, the sophistication of those skills will be enhanced. As far as which you choose, the nature of your professional life along with personal opinion should dictate that. Like anything else, there are choices to be made and consequences to be ha had.
