Tuners who don't play

Any Brain Surgeons lurking on this list?........

I wonder if it has anything to do with a "Right brain" / "Left brain"
study?  I can't remember
much about that chapter in Biology class. I do know though that the tuner I
learned from used it as a marketing tool. His cards said something about
"Acurate and Artistic tuning by a Player for the Performer".
