Kimball dampers

You know , even if you could damp all the strings form vibrating at once,
the soundboard does not have a damper and must come to rest in its' own
sweet time. Given, Kimball soundboards are not the most responsive but
maybe its' a fluke. There are a few good Kimballs out there.
In cases where I find I cannot solve a particular problem I tell the client
that the problem is always a way they can find their piano in a dark room
full of other pianos!
