Bill, if you would wander in from the lunatic fringe more often, you would notice that there have been a variety of electronic keyboards developed in the last five years that offer a temperament selection switch. Accurate or not, this capability has done more to raise awareness of alternative tunings than everything you, I, or anyone I know of, has done. There have been a number of technicians that were fence sitters on the temperament question until it was put into an either/or format, as you have done. The result is, of course, abandonment of the interest in learning more. This is counter-productive to the temperament crusade, and I, for one, certainly wish you would learn more about human behaviour before proceding to condemn that which you don't accept.
