Upright Hammers

Dear List,

	I am about to hang hammers using the sectional old hammer ends as a
guide.  My question is if I have to change the rake(angle) of the hammers
to compensate for the difference of striking line on the strings.  Doesn't
the hammer striking line recede with the wear of the hammers?
