A New One

Expletives aside about that teacher ....

Some questions to consider:

1]	Who's paying for all of the tunings? (Individual customers?)
2]	Who's setting up the schedule? (You?)
3]	Who's handling all of the administrative details after each job? (You?)
4]	Where are all of these pianos? (All over the place?)

If you've answered *yes* to anything in the ()s, then collect your full
fees for each piano tuned. Afterall, the effort you're putting into this
would be the same as if the teacher had not been involved. That's why such
a teacher (or anyone else) has no business expecting a group discount. If
the resulting customers say that you were referred by the teacher, then you
might offer a token amount to the teacher for each referral after each
tuning is done and paid for.

Hope this helps --

Les,

The trouble is, I don't know if I "can" say that. I think I'm about the
highest priced tuner here. But I'm goooooood. :-)
