Advantages of SAT III include, dedicated to tuning device, very small size, flexible programming, tuning storage capacity-unlimited with midi transfer, very good longevity of battery life between charges. Advantages of RCT include, software very flexible in tuning with diagnostic capability, ability of customer record keeping on site-unlimited storage, online updates to program. Disadvantages of SAT III include, inability to keep records of customers, has to be sent in to Inventronics for updates. Disadvantages of RCT include, battery life very problematical depending on platform used to run program, screen must be oriented correctly in order to be seen clearly, larger size. --------------- John, these are just the basics from my point of view. Although I have used both systems, I don't use either in day to day work and really don't feel qualified to go deeper into advantages/disadvantages. Perhaps others on the list will add to the list of their favorite ETD. If they would, it will give us a fairly comprehensive overview of the dillies and what others 'specifically' like about their favorite thingees. Jim Bryant (FL)
