Here, Here! I just took a class at the Arizona State Seminar last weekend. It was on installing pin-blocks and was given by John Gottschalk. He taught the method of using datum holes to line up your work. I think that this is the way Steinway recommends that it be done, because he got it from the Steinway tech at ASU, Brent Fischer. It was a good class.
