OR !!... you COULD try macrosizing the experiment so that you could actually
discern these changes with the eyeball. Take a 6 foot by 4 foot peice of wood
and shape it like a gigantic flange. Bore out a 2 foot diameter hole on your
bench drill press and repeat your experiment.. you may have to let it be exposed
to humidity a bit longer... but thats ok.
