Yes, that would be interesting. But you would be introducing unrealistic
changes. Consider Don Mannino's point about dimensional changes in a block
of wood and swelling of individual surface cells. Clearly, such a
relationship would be changed in your situation. Although, your idea would
perhaps be good for isolating how dimensional changes occurring in a block
of wood resulting from RH changes would affect hole size.
