With respect to the wonderful powers of the Dampp-Chaser system, I'm not
quite sure I agree with this.

Surely the D-C is mounted down below the soundboard where they usually are
and the bridge is mounted above the soundboard where it usually is. If this
is the case, I suspect that the D-C has very little effect on what is
happening at the bridge cap.
