This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Hi Roger=20 Thanks for the post.Have done lots o voicing in my time and must confess = to a loss of patience when dealing with this all important tone = producing or inducing device when they have been either made or = mistreated badly. It does seem to me that no matter how successful I = might be in dealing with the ornry ones it is usually never as = satisfying as installing new set of hammers and voicing accordingly. = Usually if the piano owner is at all serious about the tone ,selling = them a more permanent fix is not usually that difficult though sometimes = planning the finances is central part of the equation.I realize there = are as many different circumstances that often dictate some less = radical? slash expensive fixes as there are piano owners.I suspect you = have done this alot successsfully and I am probably missing the boat on = this one .However next time I find myself in such a position I shall now = consider myself armed and dangerous with your helpful technique .I,ll = let you know what happens!
