small temperament octave

Hi Howard,

I DID read your post and I understood your question
regarding a "small" temperament. An unstretched temp. would
cause thirds to slow down except at the bass where they
would speed up and then slow down again. Into the treble
they would get faster then slower again before speeding up
again. That all supposes one stretched octaves leaving the
temp. octave.

Part of the exercise I mentioned was to keep the stretch at
a minimum temp and out from temp. The temp thirds were a
little faster and progressed more slowly. The same for the
sixths.

I did think of your question but expanded it to include the
entire piano as my experiment did.

No finger shaking here unless you have donuts on them.
