If this came through 3 times, I apologize, but
I posted 6hrs ago. It seems to have failed.
I've made 2 more attempts.

Don't see Pleyel grands in Ottawa much.

Approx. 7'6'grand by eye,
 #166,666, Pleyel.
victorian style hammer butts.

Very recently "rebuilt", strings, pins, block, soundboard shims......

The shims are coming apart. A good 2 mm opening along shims in some
places.
The action does not work, literally, blocking, sticking, failing due to
the state
of the regulation....so on.....
but very nice refinishing!,

The soundboard must be redone, the action must be redone.
She wants to sue the previous rebuilder for part of the $10,000 work
done.

The problem is she has been told this instrument is
worth $100,000 and she will not be convinced otherwise.

So, not being familiar with Pleyel grands, I hope the list might respond
on:

How much is a new Pleyel grand. There is a dealer out of Florida.
Any opinions/help about value range, min.--max, for Pleyel pianos of
this age are appreciated.

                                   Thank You
