I always wondered what you called the method = I use. I use that method, but a couple of my tuner friends have told me that = it is out dated and the A temp is better. I am worried that if I try to = learn it now, it will hinder my current tuning skills. You should get good at the one you = learned how to tune with, but then learn a couple others and try them = out. It can only help your tuning skills, once you get comfortable with = the "new" temperaments. I believe what's commonly called an "A = temperament" is really an F to F temperament. A4 is the first note set = from the fork, but then the actual octave used for the temperament is F3 = To F4.
