Renaming migrating list threads; WAS - It doesn't matter

Gentlefolk-
I think it's been mentioned before, however once more seems in order. When
the discussion within a thread substantially changes, it would be helpful
(to those anal-compulsives among us) to indicate such in the subject. That
way, it is less confusing. If, for example, the original thread
discussion were to continue, it would have to be renamed something like,
"ORIGINAL IT DOESN'T MATTER". Starts to sound like the New York Pizza
Wars. While this morphed question - yes/no to an institutional position -
is quite relevant, and the incisive responses hopefully quite helpful to
Greg, I think, to the probable dismay of many, that the 'original' "It
doesn't matter" still has some 'juice' left in it (or, at least some untied
ends) though, as I look over the collected opus, I'm not sure that the
original title ever accurately defined what it was about anyway. And one
more theoretical point of order: At what stage would the current content of
"IDM" (It Doesn't Matter) be more appropriately addressed on the CAUT list?

Ever onward flows the list.

with affection and respect-
