Again, FYI Joe. The Danair nailer tip allows you to pound the tuning pin in
directly WITH the string coiled onto it. The little spring-loaded collar
that extends around the tuning pin lower than the hammering element, only
extends 1/4" or 3/8" down. It does not interfere with the wire coil on the
tuning pin.
