That's an interesting quick fix approach, Tom.

I wonder, though, wouldn't it be better served by moving the pins on the
offending notes towards the action instead?  This way, the nestled bushing
would be out of the picture entirely.

Of course, there would have to be room available for key travel to do such
a thing at all.
