"Roger is in the hospital with acute myeloid leukemia. He was diagnosed last Thursday and Chemo began that night. He will be in the hospital for 4-6 weeks, come home for 2 wks, go back for a week for treatment and home for 2 more wks, and back again for 1 week for treatment. At that time he WILL be in remission. The doctor said 60-70% chance of remission after the first treatment. He is receiving the chemo continuously for 7 days. He is at St Francis Hospital, 1600 Albany St, Beech Grove, IN 46107 room 610.
