There are those who believed that the "black" man was inferior to others. In that sense, "black" people have come a long way; however, I believe they were created equally just like all other people. I am "black"; however, my ancestry also includes Cherokee, Blackfoot, and Cree Indian, Irish, and English. But does that truly make me "black." Now add some more "caucasian" and some Japanese. What do you then "label" that person (by the ways, that's my son.) It would be nice if society got away from the color of people and their decent to be identified. Instead, be identified as friend, colleage, buddy. I find life is more fun, exciting, and educational when people only care about your abilities and knowledge in a subject versus your physical features. D.
