While the reviews of Verituner's and its multipartial approach victory march keeps coming in from all corners I still have yet to use it or hear a tuning done by it. I think tho, we can assume that at the very least it does a top notch job of balancing the pianos harmonics. You seem to be asking more then anything else if the claimed improvement in tuning performance is worth the extra size and weight compared to a pocket PC. I have seen the Verituner and cant really see that this should be all that much of an issue. Ok... its a bit larger and a bit heavier then a Pocket PC, but not by a whole lot. On the other hand, more then likely both laptops and Pocket PC based programs will no doubt in the near future offer their own mulit partial solutions as these machines continue to develop in raw computing power. Its kind of curious tho.... while Europe has maintained an aloof distance from the use of "Tuning Gadgets", Verituner seems to be changing the attitudes of ear tuners everywhere here. David Carpenters shift in approach is definantly a big hit here ! Cheers Richard Brekne RPT, N.P.T.F. UiB, Bergen, Norway mailto:rbrekne@broadpark.no http://home.broadpark.no/~rbrekne/ricmain.html
