Ivorite Keytops

Dear List.

I have to replace a Yamaha C6 Ivorite Keytop. But somebody told me the 
instalation techniques of Ivorite are not conventional.

Anybody noticed that? Which glue shall be used for replacing a ivorite 
keytop?. Conventional contact glue maybe?
