Methanol/how much water to add?

Tom,
Alcohol, by it's basic nature, absorbs moisture from the air. This can be up
to about 10% by volume, and in relation to the percentage of moisture in the
air. So, I would want at least a 20% moisture content for the alcohol/water
mixture to do it's work on the felt bushings. If you add too much, the water
will counteract the wicking action of the alcohol. Maybe some "x-chemistry"
wiz type can answer this.
