Methanol and wetter water

Ordinary alcohol distilled from water is only 95% alcohol (ethanol) and 5%
water (190 proof).  It is physically impossible to get 100% ethanol.

Denatured alcohol is simply ethanol distilled from another solvent.  It is
possible to get 99% (198 proof) alcohol this way.

Because we're mixing the alcohol with water, it is silly to get the
denatured stuff and then mix with water.  Just use the 95% alcohol which is
cheaper.
