Exactly Wim, many of the contemporary makers do virtually no 
finishing off. If the dealer does nothing either, which is the 
usually the case, the instrument will be doomed to sound like a 
bucket-of-bolts forever, unless someone with half a clue happens to 
come by it at some future time.

I've already been approached by dealers wanting to sell my pianos, 
but I've decided that I will scrutinize who represents us and who 
doesn't. The first test will be to check their service department's 
tuning, service and voicing standards. Any dealership who employs the 
usual half-price-quick-techs won't be eligible.

I'm looking forward to getting to the stage when I can supply.
