Drying down a panel

I should add that I am typically only going from about 8.5% to 6.5% MC. =
If you have a more humid environment with the wood EMC at 10% or higher =
and especially if you are trying to recreate some manufacturers approach =
by drying the board down to 5% or less, then I can only assume the time =
required to do so would increase dramatically.

And perhaps equally important how are you determining whether the panel =
has reached a target EMC? I wish I had an accurate scale with a 20 or 30 =
lb. capacity - that would be the best way for sure.
