OK,

So the Steinway company themselves have used Renner built parts many times in 
the past in their new pianos - for decades in fact in the Hamburg pianos. 
They DON"T make parts that fit with the correct geometry for all of their pianos 
and IMHO, their parts are not nearly as consistent.

I respect your opinion Matthew, but can you give me the reason for it?
