Richard,

Literally, how we got here, was by falling for the "argumentum ad hominum", in which a debater responds to a logical thesis by attacking the person instead of the logic.

Sarah says "this is a piano service / customer relations issue. Should we accept the customer however he presents himself, or she presents herself? I say we should, for these reasons."

Respondents say "your opinion is wrong because of who you are"

All logical discussion ends when the rules of logic are breached in this way.

So, as others have already said, it's time to let it go, and talk about backchecks, where logic always prevails. ; )

Peace,

Mike
