It's a combination of the whole that makes the difference. There is a "sweet spot" that can be found when the octaves are tuned with the already tuned unisons. Could very well be. When you achieve P12ths and an aural tuner ends up with P12ths, we must be onto the same thing. Your tuning (for which you posted the link) sounded really good.
