Very thin brass tubing cut to length and put over the original pin, depending 
on the size of the pin.   Craft stores and jewelers supply houses have this. 
It should fit really tightly over the existing pin but just in case you can 
dab a bit of epoxy on the existing pin before installation.  You can lightly 
sand the brass tubing to thin it to the correct diameter.  A lot of the Chinese 
pianos have the same issue.  TP
