---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment I'm a brand new list member. I've just acquired a Collard & Collard 5'4" grand as a project in a bid to build some piano tech-ing skills. I'm trying to age the piano but I can't find any numbers on it apart from a hand-written number on the plate which came up with a completely wrong date when I tried it on one of the internet sites. Can anyone give me some pointers as to where to look? I'm told the piano is around 1890-1900. It's overstrung and has what looks to me as a relative newbie to be a roller action. It's in a bit of a state.
