Is Ecsaine good for backchecks ???

Corfam was used on the uppers. It allowed you to have a really nice shine.
I used to be in the Navy, and when they found out we were "cheating", they 
outlawed them for Division/Parade. No shortcuts allowed, real spit and 
polish required.
