I've pointed out a time or three (somewhen back there in the 
archives ) that the choice of glue is pretty arbitrary, since it's 
the bolts that hold the load and make the fix.

Bolted up, the structure is taken care of. After that, absence of 
gap makes it LOOK fixed, if anyone's watching.
