I would just add to this that the RC description here is not accurate at
all. It is hardly "really the same" as the RC & S board. In many if
not most cases it is closer to the pure CC board.
A RC board can be said to have curved ribs... but beyond that it can
either rely largely on panel compression and the stress interface this
creates with the ribs, or it can be a pure RC and S board. All depends
on how much compression the whole assembly process ends up putting into
the board.

I do hope that someone (Ron N or O, or Del) clarifies their position
on RC v. RC & S. My understanding was that RC & S did not require the
soundboard panel (and ribs) being dried prior to glue-up to the extent
that the classical RC method calls for.
