  When calculating action ratios, I take the first lever-arm to be from key-top above the font pin. Some do their ratio calculations from the key front (I believe Pfeiffer did).


  When setting the key dip, it is easier and more convenient to take it from the key front.
  Just my take.

    I am making a new key dip block and would like to know at what part of the key is the measurement taken?  From what I can recall I have heard some say from the front while others say above the key pin.
